Parsec
The Parsec brings zone-based depth sensing to mobile robots. Rather than a single-point distance reading, it divides its 65° field of view into a configurable grid of up to 64 independent zones — each measuring distance up to 4 m. A robot can detect not just whether an object occupies a zone, but which zone and how far away, making it well suited for target detection and spatial awareness tasks.
On an AMR platform, this makes it a strong tool for locating elements — detecting an object entering a specific region of the robot's view, distinguishing targets at different depths, and covering a wide arc without rotating the sensor. The low zone resolution trades depth fidelity for speed and simplicity, complementing the robot's lidar rather than replacing it.
The Parsec contains a Class 1 laser compliant with IEC 60825-1.

Field of View
The 65° diagonal field of view divides into a configurable zone grid. The diagram below shows the 4×4 configuration with 16 independent depth zones.
